Dual Concept at Cottonwood Public House | Bosque Brewing Co. + Smothered Brunch

If you follow us closely, you may have already seen the news in Albuquerque Business First about the changes happening at our Cottonwood location. We wanted to take a moment to share that story directly with our community in a way that feels true to who we are and what we care about.

Cottonwood has always been an important part of the Bosque family, and like many locations over the years, it has asked us to think creatively about how to keep growing with our guests and our teams in mind. Over the past year, we’ve been looking closely at how to build a stronger long-term future across all of our locations. That process has asked a lot from our people, and they have continued to show up every day with commitment and heart. We cannot overstate how grateful we are for their flexibility and resilience while we work through a period of thoughtful restructuring behind the scenes.

As part of this larger effort, we are introducing a new dual concept model at Cottonwood that starts on November 17. Smothered will serve breakfast and brunch from 7am to 2pm, and Bosque Brewing will take over from 3pm to close. It is a simple shift on the surface, but it carries a lot of intention behind it. This setup allows both brands to do what they do best while creating more ways for guests to enjoy the space throughout the day. It also helps us make the most of a location that has long served its neighborhood and continues to be a meaningful part of our story.

You will see small updates as we grow into this model, but the heart of Cottonwood remains the same. Our teams are still here, and they continue to play a vital role in shaping what this next chapter looks like. Their effort, patience, and willingness to evolve with us are at the center of everything we are building.

While Cottonwood is stepping into something new, one thing has not changed. All Bosque Brewing Co. locations remain open and operating as usual. We are still here in every community we serve, from breakfast to last call, working hard to create spaces that feel welcoming and familiar.
