We've made this beer a couple of times in the past but it's been a while! This "breakfast ale" is packed with coffee and maple syrup and tastes delicious. The whole brewery team is very proud of this beer. 2-row base with Munich, Melanoidin, biscuit malt, crystal wheat, black malt, and brown malt makes up the grain profile. Just a dash of bittering hops to provide a little balance to the grain sweetness. A MASSIVE amount of Grade A Extra Dark Maple Syrup (straight from New Hampshire!) was added in both the kettle and during active fermentation to provide a delicious maple flavor and aroma. The Honey Processed Colombia coffee beans we used were roasted by our friends at Castle Coffee in Albuquerque and cold brewed for 18 hours before being added to the finished beer.

The grain bill in this batch is predominately 2 row and pale malts with a bit of light crystal for some color. Kettle and dry hops are Simcoe and Ekuanot like the last few years. Last year we were experimenting with a "thyolized yeast" but this year we are using our traditional Chico Ale Yeast.

This beer really is a bit of a throwback, a very delicious throwback. John (head brewer) used a mix of 2-row and pale malt for the backbone with some honey malt for light color and flavor. We used honey malt at our original San Mateo brewery in our IPA and pales. The hop bill is sabro and some mosaic, which is balanced by a medium body finish.

It has been a while since we’ve had a visit from Moon Cannon, and this time around, we’re jumping on the hazy train! This Double Hazy IPA is a delectably juicy with a final gravity that is out of this world. Pun intended. The grain bill for this hazy version of Moon Cannon features a large presence of oats and wheat. The dry hop is a bit more mild compared to last time. The combo of the grain and hops gives a softer mouthfeel with a more mild bitterness.

We’ve teamed up with Duran Central Pharmacy to brew a special lightly dry hopped Golden Ale to celebrate 80 years of being an iconic family-owned business on Route 66! In business since 1942, Duran Central Pharmacy is one of the oldest commercial establishments in Albuquerque. The original owner of the drugstore was Pete Duran. As a resident of Old Town, he wanted his business close by on or near Central Avenue, Route 66. In 1965, Mr. Duran retired and sold the store to his staff pharmacist, Robert Ghattas. The business began to outgrow its location and in 1975 the pharmacy moved to its current location at 1815 Central Avenue NW, where it has since been located. In 2010, Robert decided it was time to step back from the business and retired. Mona, his daughter, has continued the family business credo, sharing her passion in the care of their patients. The pharmacy has grown considerably over the years, reflecting changes in the health and medical fields. In addition, the business now includes a large selection of toiletries, gift items, and medical supplies. The original soda fountain has evolved into a full blown restaurant, serving fantastic New Mexican food and is famous world wide for its red and green chile. Duran Central Pharmacy is proud to be an independent community pharmacy supporting other small and locally-owned businesses in West Downtown Albuquerque.

In the words of Uncle Ben,” With great sparkle comes great responsibility,” and this fruited kettle sour was no exception. Glitterally is jam-packed with fruit which requires pasteurization for shelf stability, ensuring we release a fruited glitter beer, not a fruited glitter bomb. In this instance, there was an interaction between the fruit and glitter during pasteurization that caused the contents to bind, resulting in a glitteral bummer. The bad news is cans of Glitterally will not be available to take home. The good news is that we have a limited supply that did not undergo the pasteurization process and will be available in can pours exclusively at your favorite Bosque Brewing taproom including @restorationpizza while the limited supply lasts.

Golden Girls, the New Mexico Pink Boots Society’s Sixth Annual Collaboration Beer! This beer was brewed in honor of International Women’s Month @riobravobrewing. Lindsey Baker(@_lindseybaker), brewer at Rio Bravo developed and brewed the recipe. Lindsey’s creation was a Belgian Golden Strong Ale and will have notes of dark fruit with a touch of subtle candy. Golden Girls will also have notes of plum and cherry with a hint of bubble gum. Look for fruity esters and a dry finish.

The @pinkbootssocietynm is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support, educate, and inspire women in the New Mexico Craft Beer industry. Every year, NMPBS comes together in March to brew a collaboration beer and network with one another.

This beer was created by our co-worker Nicole as part of our Co-Op Series back in April of 2019. This was a hot-selling beer that people couldn’t get enough of. We decided to bring it back and put it in cans! We started the brew day off with a 2-row malt base with 75% American malt and 25% white wheat malt. Sea salt and Los Poblanos lavender went into the whirlpool, followed by over a hundred gallons of blueberry concentrate to the fermenter! We added even more lavender when fermentation was complete. We know you will enjoy this one. Cheers!
