las cruces expansion
Architectural design and plans? Check. Space prepped and ready to break ground? Check. Lease signed? Check. All systems are a go.
We finished 2014 by opening a 900-square-foot taproom across the street from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. And thanks to all of you craft beer lovers down south, the burgeoning beer bar can hardly contain you, our erudite clientele.
It’s time you all had some extra room to relax and enjoy your favorite beers, and maybe a little something to fill your belly as well. Our negotiations are complete for our expansion into the 2,744-square-foot space, just west of Jimmy John’s, in our current shopping center. The space (floor plan below) will have 85 seats inside, a 50-seat patio, a HUGE cooler to store even more beer, and a FULL KITCHEN! The menu is in the process of being finalized, but it’s safe to say that you won’t be disappointed.
Scale tipper returns
We’ve got enough Citra to brew Scale Tipper IPA three more times this year. We’ll be entering it in the New Mexico IPA challenge and beers are due for the competition at the end of June. With that, we’ve ordered a bomber (22 oz.) bottle filling station so that we can start offering limited releases of specialty beers, the first of which will be Scale Tipper IPA. This first run will be available in all three of our taprooms.
Production Increase: 40%
Our new 30 barrel fermenters and brite tanks are in which gives us the ability to produce 40% more product. Trying to get these bad boys into our brewery and stood up in a tight space was tricky, to say the least. No one was crushed; no tanks were damaged. They’re ready to be filled with beer. Look for Bosque tap handles at even more of your favorite restaurants around the state!
